Reflection: In this paper I had the option of three different topics, researched my topic of choice and looked for opposing points of view. I am used to a bit of hand holding, a more English class style approach to writing a paper. On this paper I did not have that luxury, a handout was given explaining what needed to be done and how it was going to be graded. I knew what I had to do and when I had to do it by. It was a difficult and daunting task at first, but little by little I pieced it together. I was able to meet with the writing center for a few tips that really helped pull my work together. In the end I wrote a very good paper, in my opinion. It was a new step for me, one that I faced head on, and I now think I can do anything.
