The assignment is to take any dueling document from the textbook and read, review, and write a paper. Within this paper disucss any bias, or fallacies on the part of the writer and add a personal reflection.

Reflection:
Taking two unique views on one particular topic - reviewing, disecting, and disussing their views--both in oposistion to each other and their simularities. This assignment allowed me to think critically about what the writers were trying to say, and write a review adding in my own opinion of the topic. I did not agree with some aspects, I found personal opinions, and fallacies are easily used. This can easily cloud one's judgement and lead them down a very narrow minded direction. Closed off to new ideas, the whole picture, or even the oppositions view of the subject.
I believe it is very important to take a step back, to look at the whole picture, to disect it, analyze it, and get as many perspectives as possible. This enables me to come to the complete truth, to see the whole story, and enjoy the results.
